Grade II winner Will He Shine has been purchased by Ro Parra's Millennium Farms. The 5-year-old son of Silver Deputy will enter stud at Millennium near Lexington after his retirement from racing.
A $650,000 Keeneland September yearling, Will He Shine has won five of 15 races and earned $331,041. He captured this year's True North Handicap (gr. II) at six furlongs in 1:08.70 at Belmont Park. His three stakes-placings include efforts in the Churchill Downs Stakes (gr. II) and Gravesend Handicap (gr. III).
Bred in Kentucky by Verne H. Winchell, Will He Shine is a half-brother to grade I winner Cuvee. His dam, the winning Star de Naskra mare Christmas Star, is a half-sister to grade I winner Olympio and grade II winner Call Now.
