Postby Maven » Mon Oct 08, 2007 2:52 pm

Maybe Rogue can make this a sticky so we can all keep track of the incoming class. Here are the one's retiring to Kentucky...

Street Sense

Political Force
Hard Spun
After Market
Any Given Saturday
Purim
Jazil
Invasor
Lawyer Ron
Half Ours
Seeking the Best
Will He Shine
Hat Trick
Noble Causeway
Stevie Wonderboy
Flashy Bull
Bob and John
Scat Daddy
Songster
Storm Surge
Scipion
Circular Quay
Silent Name
Master Command
Latent Heat
Shakespeare
English Channel
Discreet Cat
Mr. Sekiguchi
Spellbinder
Sun King
Aristocrat
Istan

If anyone thinks of any more or more are retired to Kentucky farms just post underneath and I'll add them to the list.

Scat Daddy, for one.

I can think of some "Probably" retiring, but they're not officially announced yet.

Thanks, Rok. Added.

Let's wait until an announcement is made. Although, I'm not sure one has been made for Purim.

Circular Quay.

Any Given Saturday has a stud page up at Darley so he's probably going.

I was just going to keep it for Kentucky stallions but if people want a regional list I guess I can start one on here as well.

Any word on Brother Derek? I asked a few people and it seems that everyone has forgotten about him.

Will He Shine

Postby hpkingjr » Tue Oct 09, 2007 11:37 am

Will He Shine to Millennium

Grade II winner Will He Shine has been purchased by Ro Parra's Millennium Farms. The 5-year-old son of Silver Deputy will enter stud at Millennium near Lexington after his retirement from racing.

A $650,000 Keeneland September yearling, Will He Shine has won five of 15 races and earned $331,041. He captured this year's True North Handicap (gr. II) at six furlongs in 1:08.70 at Belmont Park. His three stakes-placings include efforts in the Churchill Downs Stakes (gr. II) and Gravesend Handicap (gr. III).

Bred in Kentucky by Verne H. Winchell, Will He Shine is a half-brother to grade I winner Cuvee. His dam, the winning Star de Naskra mare Christmas Star, is a half-sister to grade I winner Olympio and grade II winner Call Now.
