Mare needs a home/deceased owner

Postby suzyd » Mon Mar 05, 2007 8:37 pm

I was contacted by my friend in Oregon that knows I rescue as much as I can. The mare's name is DRONFAL. She is a '93. She is the dam of Silver Misty, an Oregon stakes winner. The mare is pasture sound and not in the best of condition. Transportation can be worked out in the Or/Wa area.
She needs to go fast. The woman's children want her gone.
PM me if you are interested

Looks like she is in the database as Dronefal.

Here's the link: http://www.pedigreequery.com/dronefal

I pulled Silver Misty's PP's and I don't see where she ran in a stakes. Was it at a small local track or something?

I might be interested in the mare anyway, and I PM'd some questions.

Silver Misty just had a bullet work at Portland Meadows, and has won atleast one allowance there.

For the breeder, this isn't a horse worth paying $1000+ to ship somewhere far away, but for someone in the local market, she might be just the ticket.
