I'm sending two mares to Andromeda's Hero this spring. Anyone know how well he has been received by the central Kentucky folks?
My mares are:
Cunningly, by Lit de Justice out of Beguiled by Relaunch
Rapid Revalation, by Bianconi out of Rapid Raja by Darby Creek Road
Andromeda's Hero
Moderators: Roguelet, WaveMaster, madelyn
I too am sending a mare of mine to him and although he is really a very nice stallion (have you seen him?) he does toe in slightly. If you went to Richland Hills to see him - did you see Star Dabbler there? He is really quite nice as well although an injury stopped his race career before it really got started I think. I got some very positive/negative comments about sending my mare to him - but I did like him and I decided to go all over the board this year with my mares (sons of Storm Cat, Fu Peg, Distorted Humor, AP Indy, and El Prado).
Good luck with your matings. My mare got covered by him this week - and she ovulated so we're counting days

I liked Star Dabbler a lot on the track, and I think he is an interesting stallion prospect. (I still think he got robbed on that controversial photo in the Indiana Derby.)
I was at the track and right at the wire. I swear he won that race!
Although watching live, I also swore Congaree was second in the 2001 Derby, not Invisible Ink. Never did see that photo...
