Sorry, don't know hip #. was bought by West Point Thoroughbreds for $400,000.
Has a stupendous female family, in my opinion. Objectively, it's certainly LONG and full of winners!
I have a friend (no, that doesn't mean it's really me!) whose hubby is thinking of buying a share.
I'd greatly appreciate comments on the colt, from pedigree to confo, and any ideas as to why he "only" went to $400K.

Beautiful lookin' fellow from the picture.
The purchase price raises a flag for me. That said, it might pay to find out why the horse sold below the stud fee. Maybe there is a good reason, maybe there isn't. But the more info the better. If it was simple stuff, like minor OCD's or something, that would be interesting. Was it because of the breeze? What?
After that, they can make a better educated decision, IMHO. Best of luck to them!

Didn't this horse RNA for 190k at Keeneland in September?

What can I say, Toccet? Storm Cat + nice family = flake in knee and out until the summer?
This one isn't as bad as the Storm Cat/Xtra Heat colt that worked in 10.1 and sold (NOT RNA!) for $150,000.
