I'm hoping that Hook And Ladder becomes a nice addition to the NY Bred program. Even though he had bad feet during his career, he's not throwing it on his foals... the filly we have in partnership has feet as nice as you'd want. Maybe his feet woes were caused by the California surfaces?

I would not count on Hook and Ladder sticking around if his 2 year olds run as well as they sell. If he comes up big this year I expect that we will see him too in KY soon. I have two of his on the ground and two more in the oven and at 6k announced fee consider him a bargain.

Hook and Ladder is my sleeper of this year's freshman sires. I've seen a few really nice ones.
