no sign of labor today she was waxed just alittle we decided it was ok to let her go to the pasture for a couple of hours. I was cleaning house my husband came running in the house screaming Cat is having her baby in the field....Oh my ....we had to quickly move horses....I had everyone seperated so I could clean stalls .......this poor mare we had to walk to the barn with a hoof sticking out....my husband has raised so much livestock that I trusted him....we threw down some clean straw and put her in....just in time for her to lay down and deliver with some difficulty a filly ....hey we got a little chrome on this one!!! I am almost ashamed to show you a picture for the messy stall.....please know we had just moved a mamma and her baby out to get ready for the next.....and this poor mamma had no luxuries......I will make it up to her. Pictures will be better when she gets her strength up legs look kinda a wobbily....she is only 10minutes old here.......Remember this is mommy who cracked her sole..she looks a little ribby but in real life she doesnt look as bad but now we can fix that we had to keep her and the foals weight down so we could keep her so she could stand.....what a scare this has all been. Thankyou Lord for watching out for both.

SUM SAY LOVE, or SumWaySumDay......are some of our thoughts but not sure on a name, I really havent got to know her, Mommy and her really needed rest. Tomorrow will be a better day, everyone welcome to give us SUM names.....her daddy Summit Climber her mommy Bad Cattitude. her sister SUM BAD CAt. She is a May Day Baby.....SUM DAY SUM MAY????
