Noy For Love X Jason's Hope

Postby griff » Sat May 05, 2007 11:48 am

I may have dodged a bullit with yje advice you guys provided on my proposed NFL X Anniebsmart nick and now I apprecite your input on breeding the mare Jason's Hope to Not for Love.

I realize jason's hope has a poor racing record but she priduced an 04 gelding by Civilisation with a 3/2/0/0 and is entered in a $60k stakes for later this month.. He's a very big 17 hh gelding that won his llast allowance race by 6 lengths after coming out of the gate four lengths behind.

The resulting 08 PAPRED Not For Love foal have no Mr. P line-breeding and be:

3S X 4D X 5D to Northern Dancer
3S X 3D to Numbered account [dame of polish numbers and Private Account]

4S x 4D to Buckpasser

dosage 11/4/16//1/0 [32] DI=2.56 & CD=0.78

Well, she has a 2007 Not For Love model in the database. How did that foal turn out?

Jason's Hope has a half-sister by Waquoit who earned over $100k on the track and was twice stakes-placed. If you decide Not For Love is not an option, Waquoit is a proven cross on this family.

Jason's Hope has not had her 2007 foal yet and I have not bought her yet but probably will do so by this coming Wednesday evening..

Thanks for the head's up on the half sister by Waquoit.

Wow!!!

Waquoit is age 24 and still an active stud.. Guess I'd better do some thing this year or take tha chance he's not there next year.

Do old stallions produce as well as they did at a younger age?/

I don't know if they do or not, but I LOVE Waquoit, and he's not far off the age of Dynaformer or Storm Cat, so could still produce something useful.

One thing I heard on another thread though is that he throws big foals, so your mare would need to be of ample size.
