I have a mare that was due just over 2 weeks ago that is the last to foal for this season. I wish she would just have it already! I thought that if I put up a post she would spit it out  Lets see if it works again. It did last time. If she does not go soon I'm going in after the little bugger.

Still no foal and we were up the past two nights with Mom dripping milk and waxing. It must be a boy as it is too stubborn to stop and ask the directions to get out. If she does not go tonigt I will be killing her tomorrow! Good thing she is a favorite of mine or I might just follow through on that threat. :?

Well she finally did it!!!! Last night at 10:20 we had a lovely bay filly with just a star she is tiny but quite the strong little thing. I am thrilled and now we are done for this season. 6 for 6 and all healthy. Pic is of her fresh from the shute so I'll get another tomorrow as here she is still wet. We did not think this mare would take too well to Motherhood but she is amazing. We call her our hockey helmet girl as she is nuts unless we are riding her. We bred her last spring and showed her all last season and she won the Eastern Ontario Thoroughbred Hunter Champion. She was 16 and not 100% sound so we thought that we would try breeding her and are really glad that we did. I now have my new line horse and future jumper. Sire Shelter of course and out of Two Timming Queen by Two Time Bruce. The mares barn name is Hey You so my husband being the funny guy that he is would like you to meet Who Me??

Thanks for all the good wishes and I love the suggestion for the nest babe to be named Yes You!! That is just too funny. Well we are now done with foaling for this season! Yay! 2 mares confirmed in foal, 1 in the breeding shed now, 2 mares sold, 1 more to go to the shed and another for sale, my CSHA mare I'm holding to put back under saddle for the show ring (maybe????). Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Congrats! As they say, good things come to those who wait...

I also see that your stallion is half brother to another forum member's stallion... Karie, who has Perfect Circle... very cool!

Sorry, I have been busy and not on the puter lately. Yes Perfect Circle and Shelter are 1/2 siblings. I absolutely adore my guy as I'm sure is the case with Karie.
