I'm so glad you're not rushing him, on talking to Roguelet about A.P. Indy line horses, I'm quite sure that's what happened to injure my horse Gear It Up.
Roguelet says they don't even start training their Indy Moods until they're three, although there is a difference from Here Be A Monster in that supposedly there is a big growth spurt in the Indy Moods in the third year.
Although I'm still waiting for Gear It Up to arrive, I'm going to take conformation pictures and send them to Roguelet to see if we might be dealing with the same physical type, and then hopefully clues from Rogue and yourself can help in allowing G. Up to properly grow into himself without further injury, as well as developing strong bones.
I hope Here Be A Monster is successful when you decide he is ready to race, because my naive hope is that the more people who wait and win, the more people who will take notice.
Btw. I love those maps that say 'Here Be Monsters'.
