Boy I tell ya.. That T Pletch is killin em today

where to start.. First he manages to have the best Turf horse in the country, English Channel.. and have him lose to freakin Grand Couturier

IN the Seo O Erin Mile he takes Tiganello , the 2nd betting choice, and comes in 4th

In the Forward Pass.. happy humor goes off as the betting choice and finished off the board

IN the Big Red, Red Giant AND red Giant looses to Shamdinan.. a horse Doug O'Neil hasn't ever laid eyes on let alone trained in a pedestrian 2:04.02

IN the Beverly D he takes HOney Rider... who might not have been the BEST horse in the field... but wasn' the WORST... hwoever she came in dead last and spat out the bit with about 2 furlongs to go.

And ya know T pletch can't go out without a bang.. Sunriver, in a race that had a weak 1:16 3/4 split... he can't manage to beat Jambalya or the Tin man.. who VE did his best Mario Pino impression in the back stretch

Best trainer in the country... if you call going blank with the odds on fav's in every race execpt the Million the best trainer.. then of course

You're forgetting that Ramazutti ran dead last in the Sword Dancer and Pleasant Strike ran next to last in the Secretariat Stakes.

Pletcher is, at the end of today, 9 for 57 at Saratoga. Billy Mott is 11 for 41.
One of Pletcher's wins came yesterday - a $25,000 NW2 races lifetime claimer:

I don't know about ROI, but if he's running $25,000 claimers at Saratoga, I wonder how many two year olds that could have filled that stall are broken down by now.
