Rustic Storm

Postby faithfulfriend » Thu Aug 23, 2007 6:51 pm

I own Rustic Storm 2002 ch. Mare. She's not listed in pedigreequery but her full brother is Final Attempt.

Currently she is a lawn ornament who has been working on a career as a hunter. If I thought about breeding her it would be as a sporthorse broodmare. But I'm curious about her pedigree and her past. Anyone see anything interesting?

Thanks for looking.

I don't have any info to offer you, but I did add her to the database. :)

Hi

Rustic Storm had a record of 7-0-1-1 ($2,665), with both placings coming in sprint races. She is a full sibling to Final Attempt, 69-8-12-16 ($83,533) (all but one in-the-money placings in sprints). Her dam, Blessed From Afar, had a record of 73-13-12-12 ($97,160), and is a half sibling to the multiple stakes winner, Silent Greatness, 32-8-5-6 ($243,011), and four other winners. She traces to the conduit mare, La Danseuse (2-o) who is also the conduit of G3 stakes winner Biloxi Indian, Stakes winner and sire Diesis, and Belmont Stakes winner Quadrangle. Some very tough, hard knocking blue collar runners in the immediate family.

Lucy,
Thanks for adding her. Bill thanks so much for the information. She's really a great horse with a good temperment and nice conformation. She's a bright red chesnut with a ton of roan in her. She's got the skunk tail and everything. She looks like a sprint horse (big hind end) but honestly since I bought her almost two years ago she's grown 3 inches and put on a bunch of weight. She toed out because her chest was so narrow and she's since broadened out and straightened out. I think she's a late bloomer. Obviously I like her bunches, so thanks again for the information.
