Roman Ruler

Postby bdw0617 » Sat Sep 22, 2007 12:00 am

Did I miss something here? He got 197 mares this year. I mean, I thought he might make a decent stallion, but he's out of a stallion that at least in my eyes, is underachieving and is crazy... 197 mares? My gosh.

he was tied with Giant's Causeway with the number of live foals born this year.

Roman Ruler will come up with two stakes winners from his first crop and they're all you'll read about...there's $$$ in hyping the 1% of success in this business.

The ones I have seen sure are good looking, but who knows what will happen ....

OK, pedantic lecturer hat on...Roman Ruler is by Fusaichi Pegasus and he is out of the dam of El Corredor and Maimonides.

That incidentally is part of his attraction. He is a Grade 1 winner who is a half to another Grade 1 winner who has had a good start at stud. No he's not my cup of tea but I can see why people are breeding to him.

Yes he's by Fu Peg.. who has done what at stud? Piss Gate workers off worldwide?

He's the next Giant's Causeway in the making. he's going to get these mind boggling numbers, throw 2 or 3 runners and his fee is going to hike to 150k off thoose 2 to 3 out of 155 runners every year.
