However, she never got worse, and seemed to be just quiet and slowly improving, so she has stayed in the barn with her mother for about six weeks, eating and taking her medicines every day. Her ultrasound shows her abscess is shrinking, and her pneumonia is gone.
She's not in pain, and not sickened by the drugs. Last week she was allowed out all night, and this week is out all day as well. The farm manager reported today that she was actually kicking and playing in the field. She's eating well and starting to regain her weight; what a toughie like her mama!
