Take Note:Early Flyer has first SW

FYI - I've provided the link to a wrap up of the results of last night's Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame Night races at Retama below. It was a great night with a NTR set on the turf course and good ol' Datrick breaking an 8-race losing streak to again vindicate his deceased sire, Favorite Trick, BUT I would advise you to read the bit about Early Flyer's SW, Ferdinand Flyer, on the card.

I know one SW - especially in restricted company - does not make a Sire but IMO - people looking to find an inexpensive, now proven sire of SW of the early maturing type who makes a good looking foal ought to take a close look at Valor Farm's Early Flyer.

I've been watching his first crop to race carefully, expecting one of his first crop 2YOs to hit the boards in a stakes race b/c the photos of his 2007 foal crop in this summer's issue of the Texas Thoroughbred had me saying "WOW!! Wish I had a mare to breed to him!". Every last one of them pictured was a very good looking individual. He's been well supported with a decent but not excessive number of mares reported bred to him (range of 40 - 50mares/season)...some of those are certainly Valor Farms' mares which is not a shabby lot by any means....and I doubt you'll see the sales flooded with this stallion's get b/c typically many of their clients are the breed to race types who if they sell at all, sell privately. IF he fits your mare take a look at this one.
(P/S - I have utterly no connections with Valor Farm and/or Early Flyer so this is just what it is - my personal opinion)

For what it's worth, I think he's one of the most promising Texas stallions. I love his pedigree... everything about it from his sire to his extremely fast female family.

I think he's certainly worth a shake. I wouldn't be shocked if they do look great... the Gilded Time's tend to be sexy animals.
Don't be so humble - you are not that great.
