Question regarding Shuttling a Stallion

Postby madelyn » Thu Oct 25, 2007 5:00 am

When a stallion shuttles to a foreign country for breeding, how is his registration handled? Does the foreign registry simply recognize American JC papers for breeding purposes? If the horse is from the country he shuttles to, is that sufficient?

There is now an international stud regulatory body, which liaises with stud books for registration etc. We still have name issues. There are to horses called Spartacus standing in Australasia
