Des, thanks for running the competition, I always enjoy these, and I improved this time from last place for the show! Don't let the number of participants stop you from suggesting something like this again. The board has been fairly quiet lately and I thought the list of participants was pretty impressive.

Georgerz, it's running in the race itself that's important. Every horse that runs makes the race. I do second the congratulations to Ruffian - great job of handicapping. I didn't think it was at all easy to handicap these races.

Congrats Ruffian!

Tuc and Maven had a head to head contest going, with a pair of shoes as a prize? I think Maven should sent Tuc two left shoes :D

Maybe next year we can get Rouge to put a sticky on the contest, that way more people will see it.

Regards, Shergar

Roc and Maven, I'm glad you didn't take any offense at my attempt at my lame attempt at humour, "The two left shoes:" comment.

While watching the BC races at my brothers house, one of the guest there asked me why I wasn't working that day. In the most indignant tone of voice I could muster, I replied, "I don't work on Holidays!!" That was one of the best retorts my lame brain has come up with in some time.

All the best,

Shergar
