Exactly, Indy. Same with Sky Beauty. If the surgeons and/or vets give the "go ahead" and they train pain free at 100% capacity, why not?

Perhaps someone in her circle of connections has a half a clue that A.P. Indy blood gets BETTER with time, and perhaps they feel that she's still developing into her full potential.

Perhaps what we have seen of her ability is only the tip of the iceburg and someone out there wants to see more.

Again, let me say this: A.P. Indy blood! Late maturing! Getting better with age! HELLO?

She is, after all, a RACEHORSE, and assuming she's sound, why do people have a problem with her doing what she not only was bred to do, but has proven that she does very well?

Rogue and Roke,

I agree completely. As long as she is sound, why not run her? If horses were retired because of all injuries, we wouldn't have had any of the great horses we've had in the past. Such as Forego. You could climb on his ankles to his knees and then onto his back.

Thoroughbreds are born to run, and when they show the talent this filly has, keep her going. She's good for racing. If she breaks down, you know her connections will be crucified, but they are being sportsmen about it and will take the chance if she's sound.

If her injury isn't that bad and she heals 100%, run her.

That's a GREAT point, Rogue! I asked myself, "She's an AP Indy...shouldn't she be even better as a 4 year old?" It's the same with folks that have already written off Majestic Warrior - I'm impressed that he's done as much as he already has.

If she's sound...run her!

man I don't know. I just can't get out of my head how many issuses she had this summer. I guess we agree to disagree, because if she were mine she would'nt step foot on a track again

I'd be xraying and ultrasounding the holy heck out of that horse.... she has after all at least paid for prevention, before running her next.

I must be misreading something....how on earth do people not think Rags To Riches is not worth a fortune. She has one of the hottest pedigree's in the world and racetrack performances to match. She would smash the world record fee if she ever went to sale.

Even aside from her actual value is she produces Champion colts or fillys in the future that only adds to it. None of her stock will go under the hammer as Coolmore will race them all.

For anybody who actually recieves the Blood Horse magazine (hard copy) there is an article in which they ask trainers that have had AP Indy champions what they think about AP Indy horses.

Most said, they develop late, they aren't early 2 yr olds and the farther the distance the better they get. Apparently the magazine will be doing this for other prominent sire line champions.

For me, her injury decreases her potential value.

I can only speak for myself, I wish majestic warrior turns out to be great, but I just don't see it. I don't like horses that buck family trated trends early on.

I wouldn't thinkly highly long run of a Pleasant Tap that won a Grade 1 as a 2 YO. same reasoning here. It's just one of thoose feelings. nothing to really base it off of, but I think he might have seen his best days, which are damn good days
