The foal developed a small eye abscess at about 8 days. We got her to the vet that day, where she stayed for a couple of days. The Doc said that she would be just fine, and gave us some ointment to apply 4 times a day. She is doing great right now. I will post some new photos in about a month so we can all track her changes.

The filly in my avatar , this foals 1/2 sister, is doing really well at the track. She is 3, and we are waiting a mile race for her. She has had 7 outs, of which she has a win, 2 seconds, and 2 fourth place finishes. She does not want us to mention the other 2 races, as she is defensive about them.
