i want to talk about indian blessing
about a month ago, Roke and I got into a debate. Before the Breeders Cup I thought she won't get two turns like most people. but I said and you can look it up here.. she's a different cat. she is just so darn fast, by the time she gets to the stretch the race is over. she is literary just faster than the other horses
I think she reminds me more of her dad than any of his other offspring to date. just pure speed with enough class to make it go two turns, although they really are suited for 1 turn races

She defines, "Saved by the bell." I don't think she wants any part of more than 1 1/16th mile.
What synthetics are to California racing:

So she won't win the Alabama. Big deal. Plenty of 3 year old champion fillies were given the Eclipse without stretching out to 1 1/8 miles or more.
She reminds me very much of both Azeri and Lava Man, in that she's got tactical speed PLUS that big "put 'em away" extra boost as she goes into the stretch. Once the rest of the pack wakes up, she's drawn off by too much distance. Eventually unless she learns to stalk a little more, it will catch up with her. Baffert himself said she was better around 2 turns, so who knows? Maybe she'll surprise us all. I hope so.

Seriously, I'd like to introduce you to the 2008 BC Turf Juvenile winner

interesting if you like backseat rhythm, you should have jumped on the oaks odds, she's 23 to 1.
i actually made a $20 dollar bet on golden doc a. you aren't going to get 32 to 1 odds on a back to back graded stakes winning 3YO filly going into the oaks, on oaks day.

Six months ago, I commented (jokingly, but not without reason) that Kissin Kris would rule the world as a broodie sire and to breed his daughters to speedy Prospectors. That is exactly what Backseat Rhythm is. That said, Future pools are a sucker's bet. I'd rather take my chance on her odds in the Oaks than piss money away betting that she even makes the gate.
She's working (quite well) at Gulfstream. I expect to see her in the Davona Dale.
Backseat Rhythm, another super purchase by owner Paul Pompa Jr., has been handled very carefully by her connections to this point. She is a long winded and versatile filly. She can run on anything, breaking her maiden on the turf and running on a fast and off dirt track. Her main objective is the Ashland at Keeneland, then on to the Oaks. I think they will continue to temper their enthusiasm as they did when they did not nominate her to the Demoiselle at Belmont. After her troubled 3rd place finish in the BC Juv.Filly she would have been even money to win that race.
If they continue showing such restraint, I would expect to see her make her 3YO debut in a mile Allow. NW1/OT or Allow. NW2. TJ

you are right, i'm not a huge mr. greeley fan. but I don't hold that against horses. I like athletes and El Gato Malo is a suburb athlete.
backseat rhythm can run. what can i say? i'm not going to pass up a good bet because I don't like the sire of a runner. that's silly.
to this point mr. greeley hasn't really done much of note IMHO and espially not enough to earn that 125k stud fee. but I appreciate a runner for what it is.

English is also my second language, I didn't speak it when I came to this country at 29 yrs of age. But I made the effort to learn proper spelling and grammar. You don't find my posts that crude. What I did not learn was to interpret by approximate sound.
Foxfire has a built in spellchecker (it underlines anything that it thinks is mistyped in red) and IE has a free downloadable spellchecker (do a search for IESpell). If worse comes to worse, open your word programme, type it in that and use its spellchecker then do a copy/paste here.
I can ignore the occasional typo, but I don't have the patience to read something that is riddled with typos. Since we don't have voice inflection and body language to read, the only impression we have a poster online is how they write.
Someone who is too lazy to use a spellchecker obviously doesn't care about their opinion, so why should I?
