Congrats Roguelet! We are waiting until later this week for Inklet (fingers are crossed). A few years ago we had a stallion who took 4 months to figure out what to do!! Poor boy but once he figured it out he was very upset that breeding season was over

Shucks, isn't that the way life always seems to work? By the time you've figured it all out, it's about over! <sigh>

Yep, if all goes well, AfleetAlex should be the proud owner of Private Lap's first foal in 2009! :D

Wow... 4 months??? I'm SO glad he didn't fall into that category!

Helen... he was DEFINITELY not scared of the mare. I don't think fear is in this guy's vocabulary.

Great news, Roguelet. I was chatting with an IN breeder the other day about that horse.. he might have a couple more mares coming his way.

I can almost hear that <sigh>. Do I sense a hint of melancholy seeping through? Or is it maybe a philosophical Mahubah moment?

Congratulations Rogue. Only the first of many more to follow. This boy should get some real runners.

Alas -- ain't that the truth! Believe me, if I had a quick recipe for wisdom, not only would I take it myself, but I'd force-feed it to my clientele at the prison...that way, maybe some of them would develop some sense and quit coming back and back.

Anyway, congratulations to Private Lap on his successful assumption of his new duties.

Congratulations!!!! I know how you feel! Successful Ways has covered his first mares and is a perfect gentleman. What a relief, knowing they have the job figured out! LOL, Very happy for you, and now all you have to do is wait almost a year to see that first baby :D Isn't this a fun sport!
