Godolphin Seven Stars

Postby K~2 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 5:37 pm

I enter every year, without any luck at all, generally because I have very little knowledge of the horses in the Godolphin outfit in Europe and Dubai.

Is anyone else entering? Would love to hear insights/opinions about some of the stronger contenders.

Well you just look towards Dubai racing for some insight. Plus use some G1 winners from last year.

Elusive Warning, Jalil and Ramonti are high on my list.

Ibn Khaldun(Dubai Destination) along with Rio de la Plata (Rahy)should also feature next year. The both won G1 races. Ibn Khaldun, won the Racing Post Trophy which is seen as a good sign for the following year classics.

Schiaparelli, for sure. He just gets better as he gets older.

For the Dubai stuff, Jalil has done well. And they have a Brazilian horse running that looks kind of nice to me.

Do I understand that I can select Schiaparelli now, but not activate him until later in the season?

Exactly how I finished in the top 50 last year (#2 in the United states).
some for now. some for later. Since the contest is year long. Heck I even picked a few maidens that got me points. its all about winning races.
a maiden win is almost worth a much as placing 3rd in a stakes race.
