Socks .. and a Gray..

Our sweet darling mare, Valiant Spirit, dropped a beautiful colt this morning at 8am. He has four ADORABLE white socks and a cute big snip, but looks to take after his dam and turn gray. So those socks will vanish...

Congratulations! Does he have "white eyeliner" around his eyes too? How about some pics? :) How is your leg feeling?

I might try to get some photos tomorrow. Tomorrow is the first day I will be "allowed" to put any weight on my right foot. The nerves, ligaments (soft tissue damage) is healing WAY faster without the cast. A couple of months I should be dancing.

Great news about the foal and your leg. Jorge would love to see pictures of a nice gray with four high whites.

Congrats Madelyn on another healthy foal! Grey to boot! My favorite color. Hope the ankle is healing quickly. I'm building up huge muscles on my arms and my good leg and callouses on my hands from the freaking walker - the leg with the broken hip is getting flabbier by the day (UGH).

Not being able to walk is no excuse for absent pictures!!! Especially when it's a grey with chrome!!! :wink: Can't wait to see them but by no means do not break another leg trying to get them!! :)
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while. :)
