Flashy Omega Code *updated with pics*

Postby Mood Swings » Sat May 03, 2008 11:35 pm

My mare delivered a surprisingly flashy colt three hours ago!! He is so handsome :) It was a little stressful for a while there as he presented with no feet (I guess he plans on being ahead all the time)

I'll post pics tomorrow ... at a normal hour and after I have recovered!

Both mare and foal seem to be doing well.

He is very pretty, bays with that much bling are pretty rare.
Omega Code has some white markings, but nothing like your colt.
Good luck with him!

Someone else commented on him being a bay with "bling", I didn't realize that it isn't as common for bays to have a lot of white. Anyone know why?

Omega Code and the little guys dam do not have much white to speak of. Does that mean that someone in the family does?

Just curious! Thanks :)

Thankyou everyone for the compliments! I have been sure to tell the little guy 8)

The colt pictured below is another flashy bay born a month ago. He is by Survivalist.

Dear Mood Swings,

Haven't seen this case until now (May 7 early evening). Thanks for alerting me ---which I earnestly appreciate! As per this case, let me tell you that his long blaze with irregular design at the lower area, along with his above-the-knee white sock is a sabino giveaway ---not to even mention the other socks. Most important: quite a flashy design for a "bay". Will check his pedigree and further comment. Thanks again for the note.
All the Best,
