Stallions that were really good 2YO & Older Horse?

The topic of soundness got me thinking of who all were very good two year olds & stayed fairly steady in racing throughout their 3 year old year & maybe beyond? I am thinking its a short list the only two I can think of off the top of my head are both at Vinery in More Than Ready (a personal fav of mine) & Limehouse.

off the top of my head, I can tell you a couple of newer sires.

spightstown was a very good 2YO who won the breeders cup sprint when he was 3.

Pomeroy was graded stakes placed at 2, 3,4 and 5. he won the forego as a 5YO, the vanderbuilt as a 4YO and the king's bishop as a 3YO

english channel, while not a champion at 2, had a maiden that was about as impressive as a maiden could be.. big brownesque, but had an injury that kept him out fo rlike 7 or so months until feburary of his 3YO season, and of course won the BC Turf at 5

Invasor did win a Triple Crown and won 11 of 12 races in his life, that has to count for something.

roman ruler was at least to me "can't miss" as a 2YO, I thought he was the best things since sliced bred, and won the haskell at 3.

Speightstown did not even run @ 2 & he did not win the BC Sprint untill he was like 5 or 6. A friend of mine almost ended up with him as a stallion prospect before he made it back to the track his champion sprinter year as an older horse. I'm sorry about my wording from the first post what I meant was horses that are now stallions that were very good early 2 year olds that made it through & were very good through the triple crown & beyond. Posse is another that came to mind while he was a sprinter he placed in those early CD 2 year old stakes & still became a graded stakes winner as a 3 year old. Limehouse won I believe in the Bashford Manor @ CD & then went on to win a graded stake @ 3 & 4. Thats the kind of horses I was getting at not ones that were very good in the fall or late summer of their 2 year old year & went on to good things later as that would probley include half the stud book. I think he wants horses that raced EARLY as a 2YO.. like may and june early. Lion heart made his first start in almost november.

Afleet Alex broke his maiden in June. The Tremont at Belmont is run during the summer, and several of those runners went on to good careers. Henny Hughes, City Zip, More Than Ready, Say Florida Sandy, Kelly Kip, Victory Speech, Salt Lake, Hansel, all either won or placed in the Tremont and had good careers. Im sure you could look at the Saratoga Special and Hopeful run at Saratoga and find a lot of runners that went on to good things.

bdw, I'm not sure what that thing on your post is, but it is an improvement
One of the big problems we have posting is what are terms that are relative like good or excellent and most of the time we are talking only the top 10% of the stallions. You could probably find many "good" regional stallions that raced well at 2 and then won stakes as older horses and most were Kentucky cast offs.

One of my favorite prospects who was a good 2yo and 3yo... Closing Argument. Precocious/speedy 2yo with the guts to grind out 10 furlongs in the Derby as a 3yo.

Giant's Causeway made his first start in July of his two year old year, ran 3 times that year winning a G1 and a G2 as well as his maiden.

As a three year old he made 9 starts, all G1. He won five of them and was 2nd in the other 4.

My stallion, Rocking Trick, won the Argentine equivalent of the Breeder's Cup Juvenile at two, went on, and retired sound at 7 after 30 starts. He won or placed in nine graded stakes, from age 2 to 5.
