Forgetting about the entire STORM CAT line, and keeping with sires UNDER 50K... please finish the following sentence:

If I were breeding to RACE, the sire that seems to throw consistent, flat-out runners, is ____________________________."

In terms of runners it is hard to get around Slew City Slew with over 85% starters from foals, 66% winners from foals, 20% 2 year old winners and 6% stakes winners from starters.

Sky Classic also has good numbers with over 80% starters, 61% winners, 14% 2 year old winners and 8% stakes winners.

Devil His Due, Smoke Glacken, City Zip, Belong To Me, Mutakddim, Honour And Glory, Exchange Rate and Outflanker all have decent numbers.

As someone who follows racing I like him too!

Holy Bull - 10k!! Seems to always be overlooked

I would certainly add Langfuhr, Pleasant Tap and Not For Love to the list above when it comes to looking for a sire under 50K that sires runners that not only make it to the races but win more than their share of races.

Fantastic, thanks for the results. Any new sires (for 09) or first crop sires look like they can eventually make that list (that's a bad question, i know. No way to tell really)... any predictions?

For what it's worth, I feel good about Divine Park and Street Boss as new stallions.

From first crop to race in 2009, I like Eddington and Limehouse as two who might be flying under the radar a bit.

Check out Grand Reward for a potential bargain. They've looked pretty good and he's under the radar.

If I had to narrow it to one horse I would say Langfuhr. I would also like to add More Than Ready who has not been mentioned. In FL I really like Put It Back & Wagon Limit. In NY I like Eltish, in CA I think there are a nice handful but I think Benchmark is incrediable value to breed a racehorse. In AR-LA where my horses are based I think Hesabull is a very overlooked solid breed to race stallion & for 1k stud fee there is no better value in breeding for a racehorse anywhere IMO.
