I saw about this horse on the TBC forum. Glad to know you're on the case, Louis. As always, thanks for keeping us informed and for helping PT! :)

Louis,

I don't know if Bill likes visitors to his barn or how the backside policy is at SA these days, but any chance I can go see PT while he's still in Spawr's barn? I will be in Arcadia on 10/29 and 10/30 (a.m. only). I'd like to give the poor boy a carrot or something before he departs.

Erin do you have a CHRB license? if so you can set up a time to visit PT.
If you dont have a license you can have a trainer sign you in and you will be honored with a day pass and you can go to Bill Spawr's barn.

Resurrecting a very old thread, because this poor guy, Pepper Trail, raced for $8K tonight at Hollywood. 3 years after he was injured enough to be vanned off and 'unable to race again.'

He was vanned off tonight. I hope he is O.K.

Wow I wasn't even paying attention to the year til your last post and realized it'd been 3 yrs. I'd really love to know how he's doing.

I will ask Cliff Sise about PT condition. A few years ago PT was injured not serious, when Bill Spawr was training her, A lady from WA E-mailed me & asked Bill Spawr if she could take PT to her farm in WA. I gave BS the ladys Ph. no. & bill called her to tell her she could have PT. The lady never called back & thats why PT is still racing.

PT is ok, and will survive, I will find out if he will be retired or will race again.

I'm glad he's O.K., and thank you for following up Louis. I do hope he's done for good this time. He was a neat little horse in his day, but I think he needs to find something else to do.
