Colloidal Silver For horses & People

Postby Mikki79 » Sun Dec 07, 2008 7:00 pm

My vet recommended this to me and I started using it regularly. I have seen significant improvement in all of my horses since I have started using this. I also started using HB 15 a hoof supplement for my horses and we have not (knock on wood) had an abcess in over a month and a half. Colloidal silver has many benefits. I have the name and number of the lady that I purchase it from. She makes it herself and my vet swears by her product, it is also A LOT cheaper than if you were to get it in the store. PM me if you are interested in more information. She will send it with directions attached. I also (knock on wood) have not had a single sick horse on my property.

A 4 oz bottle she charges $7.50
A 20 oz bottle is $25.00

My cousine was paying $30.00 for a 4 oz bottle in an herbal store!

I attached a link with some helpful info on what you can use this for.

http://www.astek.co.nz/silver/animaluse.html THIS IS NOT WHERE I ORDER MINE FROM BUT IT DOES TELL ABOUT MANY OF THE BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT. PM OR EMAIL ME FOR MORE INFORMATION.

This is the first I've heard of this, but seriously? Feeding a heavy metal to a mammal? No thanks.

There are always going to be people who believe in a product and those that don't  , if it's not for you that is fine, HOWEVER, it was a certified veternarian who recommended this product to us and I have no complaints to date.

I passed the information on to other horse people and my cousin came back and told me she has been using this product for 5 years. It cleared up a staff infection on her 3 month old daughter when NOTHING that the doctors perscribed did. So again we are all entitled to our opinions and a lot of people are leery of natural remedies and herbalist but that doesn't negate the fact there are people that believe in this product and I happen to be one of them.

If you have no interest that is fine. I'm not making any money off posting this information. The lady that makes this is certified in natural medicine and if anyone is interested in knowing more information then PM me. If you have questions I will give you her number and you can talk to her yourself. She will be able to better answer your questions and address any concerns that you may have.

Mikki, in all fairness to me, you did post it up on a public forum for comment, so perhaps you might not roll your eyes when you do indeed get comments.

What you ingest yourself is your own business, but I would like to save your horses and your 3 month old second cousin from the POISONING you are advocating. Heavy metals are extemely dangerous to the body, and organs are particularly susceptible. You need a new veterinarian, because the one you have is a quack who should lose her license. Did she go to school in St. Georges?

I did not understand your comment that you haven't had an abscess in a month and a half. If that time period seems phenomenal, you have got another problem going on there that silver is not going to cure.

Please look again at the links that have been posted. These "treatments" have been touted since the 1800's. People used to die all the time then from misguided potions. It's a poisoning, not a cure. I mean this sincerely, not to be difficult. Don't take my word for it. Please ask other medical professionals.

Has anyone read the book, "Starvation Heights?" Rich folks went there to take imaginary cures for imaginary diseases and were systematically starved to death after signing their wealth over to the "foundation.."
true story. For real snake oil salesmen, there is one born every minute.

One one of the talk shows a few months back, there was a guy whose skin and hair had turned blue from using colloidal silver. This was a permanent change of color for the poor guy.

Everyone is different. People can be poisoned by the amount of aluminium from their deordorant. Some can inhale aspestious for years and nothing happen. Any vit or mineral can have healing properties in moderation. And again, if you haven't had a abcess in 6 weeks and this is a record.. rethink your turnout.

I will do that Crystal, thanks for the advice. It isn't used just for abcesses though. Never had a sick horse, it's helped clear up rain rot. It doesn't have to be ingested. For abcesses you soak the foot. For rain rot you spray it on the infected area.

As for contacting me I believe most everyone who is interested (thank you for contacting me I hope you find it as useful as we have) has emailed. After February 3rd I won't be around to answer emails so please do not contact me after this date as it is most likely I will not receive the email.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

Well I will tell you about my silver experience. I bought a bottle for wound healing. On the bottle it had directions for ingestion. I thought it odd you would ingest a heavy metal and thougt, no I or my animals won't be drinking this stuff! And to be honest, I couldn't imagine anyone would.

But as for treating wounds, I am quite impressed with how quickly a wound can be healed.

I would be seriously careful with both you and your horses ingesting silver on a regular basis. It may not be something immediate, but over time I would imagine damage would irreversible.

Thank you teb for sharing your story.

LOL Now I see the confusion. I never said to INGEST it daily. Although the person who I buy it from assured me it is harmless and my vet gives it to her horses about once a week no we don't use to regularly. We have used it on wounds. We have used it to soak hooves. We have used it on rain rot. I have given some to the horses at the change of the weather and none got sick. I took some myself when I started to get sick and the next day my head and chest were cleared. But no I do not drink it regularly. It has amazing healing power if you use it and it does not have to be ingested to heal.

Goodness why would you want to take something regularly that isn't needed. I posted a link and said things that it has helped with on my farm. I did not say to drink it every day.

Have to admit, never did see a nasty gash heal as quick when using the silver.
