KY Overnight Stable Suggestions
I am hoping some people on this board could give recommendations about an overnight place to board my new filly on the way back from IL to VA. I thought I was going to make it to WV to a place I know , but due to her getting her health cert done later than expected on Friday it puts me back in the Lexington area around 8 pm. I really would like to be at least on the east side of Louisville for suggestions. Convenient to I-64 desired.

trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while.
There is/was a horse hotel called Blackstone Farm, that offers overnight accomodation. Call Jimbo at 859-254-5688.
Last time I picked up a horse there it was $25 a night, but it might be more now. However, it is a farm that does PRECISELY that, or at least they used to.

I have been perusing the horse motel sites. I was *hoping* to get affirmation that a place is as good as it looks lol!
I will definitely give Blackstone a call. It looks super convenient to the interstate. There is one called Saddle & Sheets that intrigues me too. I also looked at a place called Sanrosa (a Bed and Breakfast with overnight stabling) but someone told me it was too soon to be taking my new horse on an overnight to a bed and breakfast
. lol ....actually it didn't allow dogs so I had to rule it out and start looking for seperate stabling since we will have my friends JRT (ugh) with us.
Thanks for the input!
