At least they're showing that . . .IMO their track coverage has been really awful of late.

My problem with TVG is their host's Todd Schrupp, Ken Rudulph, Matt Carothers and Frank Lyons . They are unwatchable Hollywood wannabe degenerate gamblers.

Gee, I feel like they are all my virtual friends. :D Watching them is just like being in my box at Pleasanton.

But seriously, a DVR is a must-have for the Eclipse Awards. I've never seen such a painful program. Bad jokes, and no polite laughter. It's agony. I had a friend that has since passed away that told me he went to the Eclipse Awards several times when John Forsythe was the MC, and it was always fantastic. The pre-show show is the worst of all, while they fawn over all of the non-celebrities coming in.

I thought I had cut to the heart of the matter but you trumped me.

mATT ESPECIALLY BOTHERS ME...HE THINKS HE'S SOME EXTREMELY FUNNY GUY, AND TO ME HE'S JUST OBNOXIOUS.
wHAT BOTHERS ME IS THST THEY ONLY SHOW TRACKS i PERCEIVE AS SECOND OR THIRD RATE except for the Nyra tracks, (I'm sorry just saw caps lock on and haven't the strength to retype), and they spend so much time talking about wagers and showing wagering graphics that paddock activity is sometimes ignored completely.

I'd love HRTV but Cablevision doesn't carry it.

What is so stupid about TVG and HRTV is that they are not both carried on the same networks, and while I get TVG in Connecticut where I am the majority of the time, I can't get HRTV, and of course TVG doesn't carry Santa Anita, which is just ludicrous. But when I am in Calif where you would think they would have the maximum coverage, we live in an area that only has TimeWarner cable, which doesn't carry either one, which is mind boggling. In CA TVG has this silly little deal with Fox that shows 3 hours of TVG coverage in the afternoon if it isn't being preempted by a basketball game or a hockey game or women's lacrosse game, but it always goes off just as they are loading the feature race into the gate.
It is incredibly stupid.

That is crazy. I am in Anchorage, AK and get both networks on cable but I must say my tv stays on HRTV 98% of the time & I use to be a TVG guy but their coverage right now is horriable. In Arkansas I had to get a sat to recieve both networks. I find the best way to watch races is to either get TRN to get track feeds & or an online wagering account where most give you the track feeds for free. Delta Downs even gives their track feed via their website and goes back far if you want to watch any race replays from there.

We get both TVG and HRTV on Dish Network and TVG is the one that carries Santa Anita. We just watched the carryover there.

And, if I may still vent, I can't even bet or become a TVG account member because that happens to be against the law in CT, my primary state.
