Read The Footnotes-Ivy League Miss (Carson City), Filly

Hard knocking runner Ivy League Miss danced the last two nights away (a la David Lee Roth) and finally dropped a nice leggy filly for one of our clients, at around 5:05am. Two of ours are next, either Pleasureindancing or Blarneystone Lass.

Congratulations on your filly. I noticed the sire and dams names. Read the Footnotes and Ivy League Miss. Thought I'd give a name suggestion. Read Between the Vines. Ivy has vines and reading between the lines play on words. Anyways I thought it was interesting.

I like it, but since it was a clients mare, the real name is out of my hands. If it was a colt it's barn name would have been Pointdexter, but since it's a filly her nickname is Andrea, after the brainy girl from 90210. I do like the vine reference though, I named one Fontanabianca a while ago after a nice wine, but usually I (try to) name my own after Grateful
Dead or Phish songs (the jockey club likes to reject my names more often than not though).

The pics are not co-operating with the dial-up, so I might have to go to the restaurant (highspeed) and upload them.

It always amazes me how quickly a foal can adapt to snow/cold weather! That is a beautiful foal and best of luck!
