Anyone familiar with whatever became of Crown of Thorns ? He fell off the derby trail I think last February with sore shins but hasn't been seen since.

LOL ... I was looking up Sovereign Dancer ( too much free time on my hands ) and Crown of Thorns showed up. I had forgotten all about him and realized yesterday that his inbreeding pattern ( Bold Ruler, Bold Lad & ND ) is " similar " to that of my 2 yr. old, named Sweet Baby James, coming to the track this year.
Sure would like to know if there was more to it than just sore shins which appears to be the case by now.

He's been showing up on the work tab in SoCal but no comeback race yet that I know of.
