Welcoming all here to view my new blog

Postby diomed » Wed Mar 11, 2009 7:05 am

Hi all.
I just started a blog specifically focusing on the fastest horse and their background.
I welcome any comments and ideas to make it better. I am rather a newbie to all of this stuff. LOL!!
My main focus will be the TB and the QH, however, speed in other breeds could become a topic matter in the future.
I did manage to specify my search engine to include only relevant sites for this kind of information.
I am wondering if it is OK to include this forum to my links. I figured I would ask first.
Enjoy! Here is the link http://thefastesthorse.blogspot.com/

I wouldn't imagine that the site owner would have any problem with that whatsoever. :)

Nice site.

Have you taken a looks at http://www.sporthorse-data.com/index.htm ? Great database with lots of photos. I like the fact that it allows 3 photos to be posted.

Covers TB's, warmbloods, and a host of other breeds.

Nice blog! Thank you! I had just finished completion of extensive research on my mares pedigree and found several pleasant suprises there. She is tail female family 20 and is double bred Cade through the Changling mare. Her name is Happy Anniversary. She also has 6 crosses to Mumtaz Mahal for a 5x6 influence. I will be looking forward to many more posts on your blog!

Excellent. I enjoyed Part 2 immensely, but where is Part One?

The early days of the creation of the TB are endlessly fascinating. Thank You.

One small quibble--a bit of copy editing would not be amiss.

In my small corner of the world, as you know, the Buzzard/Alexander Mare siblings leap out. May I hope that you will travel down their byway in the future?

Part one was posted before part 2 and is in the blog archive on the side bar.
I have to admit, I am new to this xml code thing and I started playing around with a template and had to do a few things over again.
LOL!
I figure, that's how I learn what NOT to do.
Anyways, here is a quick link to part 1.
