Lovely **blingy** chestnut sabino TB mare for sale

Postby TrueColours » Mon Mar 16, 2009 9:24 am

Rock Hard Georgie is a 5 year old, 16hh TB mare with all of the bling you could hope for, combined with lovely, flat kneed hunter type movement, very good conformation, a beautiful head combined with a soft eye and a wonderful temperament.

She is a very refined and elegant mare and would cross beautifully with heavier stallions to produce lovely sport horse type foals.

Her bloodlines are to die for - from the well known, respected and proven performance bloodlines of Secretariat, Northern Dancer, Halo, Hail to Reason, Bold Ruler, etc to the very prolific sabino producing bloodlines of Explodent, Northern Dancer, Vice Regent, etc

Her bloodlines can be seen at:

She is for sale for $2900.00 with a breeding to Guaranteed Gold or for $2100.00 - open

Guaranteed Gold is a 16.1hh cremello TB stallion and the cross would 100% produce a palomino foal, hopefully with a lot of *bling* as well:

Your mare is lovely! But I'm curious...since she's bay, wouldn't the cross produce an equal (or greater) chance of getting a buckskin?

She's not bay...she chestnut. And she looks like a pretty liver chestnut at that.

Funny LB - Ive had so many people email and "correct" me and say since she is bay, a buckskin and smoky black foal are possibilities as well ... :)

But Joie is correct - she is a very dark liver chestnut but she does definately look bay in some pictures!

Now TC.....you DO NOT know my wussy little guys.....stay out? woot? They would EAT my barn and fences and my paddocks are horrific right now! Lacey, the baby (ok, just turned 3) rules the roost with an iron fist....I mean hoof....and just not enough area yet to have them out 24/7. Alot of things got put on hold when I had my accident and believe it or not, still not healed up yet.

When I first saw you post that pic of her TC.....I drooled.....still drooling. STOP teasing me please.....LOL. Something about her, honestly if it was do-able, yuppers, be there in a heartbeat. Note to self.....not gonna look again.

Linda is coming to get her today :)

This was the mare that Blazing Colours was making snarky remarks about in that first thread I had about her - showing the before and after pics and what a huge differernce there had been in the 2 months since I bought her. I'm glad she "turned her down" when she was originally offered for sale, and I was able to find her such a terrific home instead AND where she can be bred to GG as well :)

They are going to have wonderful babies together in the years to come, thats for sure! :)

Well, if you're going to start a snarkfest - I'd say you just proved her point. On more than one count. 8)
Any horse can look a lot cuter when let down and fed up - but you just legitimized every reason she used NOT to take the mare.
I'm glad she'll have a good home and produce a cute baby.
Congrats to Linda :)
