I did a thread on the All Breed Ped Query about "staging" horses because of so many people posted horrible pix with their ads. C'mon ... if you're gonna try to sell a horse, at least clean it up before you take a pic.

Some of these people demonstrate considerable unfamiliarity with the written word.

stud fee must be considerable if those products demand such auction prices...We all have demand in our breeding programs for PR track record setters for 5,6,7, furlong horses.

Did anyone smile at this part:

Season incentives available per example; if you bred couples of mares the second one is free (2 x 1) , multiples mares a bargain deal...

2 x 1 is still 2 in my book.

Lou-roe Farm in Morriston, Fla. are giving breedings just for the booking fee of $385. I just got the flyer in my mailbox.

I saw on Thoroughbred Times website that he stands for $800. Am I wrong, I take 1.1k to be $1,100.

Just to give a little defense to Manalo. He doesnt speak great english but is a very nice man. He bought a mare from me a couple years ago and she shipped from Ohio to Florida in her own box stall. When she arrived he updated me on her condition and thanked me for a lovely, well taken care of mare. Im just wondering if Betty has foaled the Gulf Storm foal yet....
