3 for 1 Pennsylvannia Package-Spend A Buck mare, etc.

Postby bfinellc » Thu Mar 19, 2009 2:38 pm

I would like to sell my 2001 Spend A Buck mare, Miss Moolah, with her 2009 Pennsylvannia bred Roar of the Tiger ($6000 stud fee) filly by her side, and breeding paid to One Great Cat (stands for $3500 for PA foals). The mare was fast and a winner and claimed for $20K....but she got hurt on the farm; had a couple surgeries; and never regained her speed. She is super smart and an incredible mother! Her 2009 Roar of the Tiger filly is part of the package. Roar of the Tiger, a full brother to Giant's Causeway, is a hot young stallion in Florida and currently ranks 27th nationally among 2nd crop sires and was, I believe 22nd in 2008. The mare will be bred back to One Great Cat (son of Storm Cat out of a full-sister to Fusaichi Pegasus named Blissful) who stands at Regal Heir Farm in Pennsylvannia for $4500 ($3500 for PA-breds). I have already paid the stud fee. Get this 3 for 1 package for $10,000 OBO! Or, drop the 2010 foal in PA and name me as co-breeder and I will drop the price to $6000.

Mare and foal can be seen at Regal Heir Farm in Grantville, PA. Pictures of the mare and 2008 foal (Indian Ocean) can be sent to you upon request. I do not have pictures of the 2009 filly yet but have been told she has a white blaze, four white socks, and is very leggy! PM me if interested or want to know more!

I will also have a Pennsylvannia-bred Eavesdropper 2009 foal available for sale soon. The foal is out of a 1/2 sister to the $250K NY Bred Yearling sales topper sold to West Point Thoroughbreds in 2008! This will be a nice PA bred foal!

Thanks ageecee! I think it's a sweet deal too! I really want the foal to stay in PA so that she can earn some of that high dollar PA money! Moolah was a fast, fast horse....but ornery and loved to see what type of trouble she could get herself into....that's why she got injured. She has become an excellent mom. Her page is pretty light but I think her foals will be honest, hard knocking runners! Claiming purses in PA are NICE!

Roar of the Tiger is going to be a heckuva sire. He did real well last year and had some nice selling two year-olds with one going for $370K. He's a full brother to Giant's Causeway and Freud so I am expecting big things from him in the future. I doubt there are too many Roar of the Tiger PA-breds so this filly could be special! His stud fee alone is $6000 so the right buyer should find some nice value here.

One Great Cat is also an interesting sire for PA. By Storm Cat and out of the mare Blissful, a full sister to Fusaichi Pegasus, I expect him to get lots of support from PA breeders. Again, if all goes right, that foal could also be something special!

The nicks to both Roar of the Tiger and One Great Cat are A++ according to True Nicks while they are A nicks according to Werkhorse (if you believe in those products).

I think Miss Moolah is worth the $10K by herself as there aren't that many Spend A Buck mares out there. Spend A Buck threw some quality foals....Einstein, Pico Central, etc. Moolah is by a cheap family but boy is she smart and was lightning fast! This is a steal for somebody....and hopefully it's somebody willing to keep and race them in PA! This deal is definitely for the person who wants to RACE!

You can see photos of my mare Miss Moolah at: http://bfinellc.com/horsesforsale.aspx The foal in the photos with her is her 2008 Indian Ocean filly. This filly is not for sale. I will try to get photos of her 2009 Roar of the Tiger filly soon. They are both at Regal Heir Farm in Grantville, PA if you care to take a look at them.

A Roar of the Tiger colt topped the John Franks Memorial two-year old sale going for $77,000. Just think what a PA-bred Roar of the Tiger filly will be worth! Here is a link to the article on the sale topping Roar of the Tiger: http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/sales- ... -sale.aspx

My mare Alexie foaled a PA-bred filly by Eavesdropper on 3-30. The filly is big and bay and could be added to the package! My price for the 4 for 1 deal is $12,500 and is a steal (stud fee alone were $7500 for Eavesdropper; $6000 for Roar of the Tiger; $3500 for One Great Cat and you get a great Spend A Buck mare to boot!) Alexie is out of a $100k+ winning mare and has a stakes-winning 1/2 brother and is 1/2 to the top-selling NY Preferred yearling of 2008 who sold for $250,000. That colt was named Cowboy Exchanger and is now named Common Currency and is part of West Point Thoroughbreds horse stock (see his info at http://www.westpointtb.com/roster/view- ... orseID=198). The foal's 1/2 sister, Brenda's Slew, is in training in Ocala, Florida and looks INCREDIBLE! She will definitely do well versus Iowa-breds in 2009 making this $12,500 package an incredible bargain for the right person (pinhooker or Pennsylvania owner). PM me for more information as I'd like to get these fillies (and mare) sold! If you want to see these foals or the mare go to Regal Heir Farm in Grantville, PA. Please hurry, though, as I will be shipping the Eavesdropper filly with her mother to Kentucky within the next week.

Doublete:

The PA program is the best program in the nation for owning and breeding! My wife and I just have far too many horses and need to cut down our boarding expenses (especially since we live in Iowa). This is a great deal for someone in the PA program. It kills me that I have had interest from people over-seas but not from anyone in PA. My Spend A Buck mare was lightning quick and is a great mom. Roar of the Tiger is going to be a phenomenal sire...he's had two year olds sell for as high as $370K and I'm sure there aren't too many Roar of the Tigers that are PA-breds. Eavesdropper is royally bred and my Eavesdropper filly sure looks the part. Her mom, Alexie, is half to some really nice horses and that alone whould definitely make it worth someone taking a chance on the foal (especially at the price I am willing to take).

I do not want to sell to someone overseas. I have this package priced low for people wanting to race in PA or to sell to someone who will re-sell to someone who wants to race in PA. Obviously, as the breeder, I have a huge vested interest in them racing in PA! You can see what their siblings look like by checking out my facebook page as I have photos of the Eavedropper's 1/2 sister and of the Roar of the Tiger's 1/2 sister (and also the mare Miss Moolah). Go to facebook and look up Dennis Bracewell. I do not have pics of the foals but you can at least see how their siblings look and how Miss Moolah looks.

Something to also note: Miss Moolah was bred to One Great Cat. One Great Cat's foals of 2010 will be eligible for many state bred stakes races such as the Iowa Stallion Stakes, the North Dakota Stallion Stakes, etc.... this could be an easy wasy for you to get some black-type for the foal and the mare!

I was just told today by the farm manager at Regal Heir Farm (Lauren) that Miss Moolah's foal is BEAUTIFUL! Alexie's foal is getting shipped with mother to Kentucky on Thursday....so if anyone wants her you will either have to wait until she's back from Kentucky or you can pick her up in Kentucky.

I really need to scale back my operations and I am not selling my foals to the Phillipines....so, my new price on the 3 for 1 package is $8,000. This gets you a 2009 Roar of the Tiger filly who has been described as "beautiful" by the Regal Heir Farm Manager; a winning Spend A Buck mare named Miss Moolah; and a season (used on Miss Mollah) to One Great Cat which retails for $4500 (outside of PA) or $3500 (PA foaling mares). PA breeders do yourself a favor and PM me now as you can't go wrong with this package!

Where else can you get a PA-bred by Roar of the Tiger for $8,000 let alone her, her mom and the future One Great Cat foal???? Come on people! I really don't want to sell, I have to sell! Times are tough right now and I just have too many horses. Go take a look at the mare and foal at Regal Heir Farm and then buy this package.....whether you buy to race or buy to sell this is a win-win deal for you!

This is probably a dumb question but have you talked to the farm where the stallions stand and see if they can recommend anyone who might buy the horses? Obviously they have an idea who likes their stallions and has bred to them in the past and would likely take a deal like this. That way the horses stay in PA and you have a chance at the breeders awards which is supposed to be the whole idea behind breeding in PA to begin with.

Not a dumb idea at all. I have not contacted them but I will!

Thanks.

Since I haven't had any luck selling....would anyone be interested in leasing my mares for the season? Miss Moolah, the Spend A Buck mare, is in foal to One Great Cat and currently resides at Regal Heir Farm in Grantville, Ky. I am willing to listen to anyone's offers or ideas about leasing or buying her....especially ones that name me as co-breeder!

Alexie, my Chief Seattle mare who is 1/2 to the stakes winner North Beach Condo and 1/2 to the top-selling NY-bred yearling from 2008 Common Currency, is currently in Kentucky and has been bred to Seattle Fitz (similar breeding to the multiple stakes winner Cosmonaut). I have just gotten confirmation from the farm that she is confirmed in foal. The resulting foal has the opportunity to be worth a ton once my two-year old Brenda's Slew (who is doing remarkably well) and Common Currency hit the track this year! I will listen to all offers on Alexie, either to buy or to lease. For those wanting to lease...name me as co-breeder, drop in a breeder-friendly state....and we can come up with some favorable agreement!
