And we're off for '09

Postby Denise » Tue May 05, 2009 4:35 pm

Brother Sy will lead the family queue out in '09 with his first start at Presque Isle on Friday, opening night. Race 8, post 8.
The Sy man has never has set foot on the Tapeta, so we won't know till we know what our turfer thinks of the fake stuff. :?:
We'll see.

Good luck Denise! I hope you come back with a win (or at least a piece of the purse!)

Yaaah Denise! I've been on pins and needles waiting for your babies to get to the track this year, but I promised myself that I wouldn't bug you about it. I hope Brother Sy brings home the bacon

Fourth beaten 3 lengths. First time back in 6 mos., first time on the Tapeta with some nice horses. Whew! He needed one and it was a nice surface to start out '09. :)

He'll get'em next time. How are Spider and the girls doing? Any news on any new UBJ babies?

Spider and his sisters are all doing great. We hope Sack of Rubies will start in the next few weeks, and Platinize is aiming for a turf debut in PA, maybe late this month. Pearl, like the rest, is not a likely 2yo. starter, so she's just being brought along slowly.
Baby Reds is growing like a weed next to her mom! :D

I like the Fappiano/Caro in Sack of Rubies, Denise.

Good luck on the track this year. I'll be watching with interest.

We like it too, Jag, enough to have three of them. My Son Spider, "Charlotte" (Sack of Rubies) and Pebble to a Pearl are all full siblings on that same nick.
A couple of sets of full sibs we have, one with Fappiano/Caro; the other, Danzig/Cozzene. We'll see. :D
