Why she did not run in the Derby, I don't know. But I also believe that if Calvin Borel had been on MTB, the result would have been different. Mike Smith lost the race, in my opinion.

She is the bomb! I hope they carry on to the Belmont! And I hope she loves that track and is stressed aout a little. MTB got close, but he's not the nuts.

I want to see them in the Belmont!!!

I could tell she wasn't handling the surface very well, but Calvin got her home. Wonder how she'll handle the Big Sandy if she goes.

Musket Man ain't no slouch either, finishing third yet again (he's got the Believe It bug!)

No TC winner yet again and now we wonder if she had run in the Derby...would we have been looking at a possible filly taking it all? What if, what if....

Congrats and tho' I may have grumbled about Jackson buying in her, yada, yada, she is THE real deal.

Hats off to RA, she ran great

However MTB should have won this race...Mike Smith thinks he is Pat Day or something...You can't have a horse that far back at Pimlico.

Garcia kept Flying Private between MTB & the rail. Clever bit of race riding, for all the good it did him...but Lukas had said on TVG to use his horses in the super and look for 'em in the Belmont, so I'm guessing all went according to plan.

I still believe than ending that wide from post 2 was a tactical error, that cost MTB the race.

She's a nice filly and I don't want to take anything away from her, but I don't think they should try the Belmont with her, I think the field will pass her after 1 1/4 miles. But I think that Mine That Bird will carry on and take the Belmont like his daddy.

You Mike Smith knockers make me laugh. Mine that Bird ran a super race, a horse with his style was never going to get it done at Pimlico,he ran super and maybe Belmont will be his place to shine. Where the hell was Smith supposed to go? Did any of you watch the over head shot? Another sixteenth of a mile makes him very close to Rachel ,it was very respectable indeed after all the knockers said he needed mud or this or that. The Triple Crown is only won by freaks because it is three tracks, three surfaces and three distances that alternate. Mine That Bird is a lovely honest animal and I hope that he can stick around a long time to give us all a chance to see him in the flesh.
