Heard it here first. I just have a gut feeling she isn't going to win

Repeat of Milady H ? Dont rule out her chance to win back to back Vanity..Agree there are some concerns..the 2008
event was not won with impressive time.

Last year she won by 1/2 length with 3 lbs more than the 2nd finisher...this year it carries 7 lbs more than the next
highest.

Among Zen's wins of 8 group races..6 were at 8.5f and 2 at 9f, including the coveted BC Ladies in 2008.

Which Filly RA or Mare Z has beaten class TB in their winning races, thats why we need RA & Z to meet on BC day to determine who is Queen of the Hop. Lets get it on, its time to rumble.

I just finished watching the replay of the Floral Park race at Belmont this past Sunday. Cocoa Beach, who was a 15 cents on the dollar favorite, ran last behind some mid level allowance mares.

One should never think their horse is going to win a race by just showing up. Its tough to keep a horse at peak performance over a period of time.

i have been uber busy this week.. cocoa beach LOST? are you serious? man what is the world coming to. that was a crappy field. mid level allowence horses is being extremely generous.

I think she might hav ebeen in heat last year. or something wasn't physically right.

but jsut the actions of the connections.... I don't know. I think this is as close to as she is going to come to being beat beucase she's not going to run outside of socal and not again any real comp. she's going to have to beat her self.

And It hink with it being mid summer, I don't think she LOVES hollywood park, the connections were talking about skipping this race, etc

Brave call but that mare can throw very fast quarters any where from the half mile pole on in. She's a monster and will in again..

I don't think the weight will affect her that much. She is more filled out this year and should be better able to carry the weight.

I say she wins easily.

She may lose a race this year, but I wouldn't bet that it will happen on Saturday.

i just thought of something very random

i'm not saing he is by any means, just using it.
let's say mike smith had a gambling problem and owed bookies alot of money.

do you know the cash a bookie could make by making big z tank and finish off the board?

That is the most libellous, macheiavellian, crass, asinine comment I've heard from you yet, and boy, there's been some previous doozies over the years.

are you serious?

some of you guys are overlly anal.

I have nothing against Mike smith. I'm not in the slightest even suggesting that he is crooked. I'm sure he's a great guy

all i'm saying is that "man, its just that easy". all it takes is a guy in debt on a big horse that should not lose. It just so happens that mike smith is on zenatta. I could have just as easily said Calvin on Rachael.

my gosh. chill pill. please.

A gentle thought/critique, BDW:
That's how rumors get started.
You can have all the random thoughts you want, but expressing them is not always a good idea. There are people who only skim posts and may walk away saying OMG Mike Smith is going to throw the race!
All shouting does is make you lose your voice.
