The verdict must be in on Let's Play Fellows filly!

Postby reedhill » Tue Jul 28, 2009 9:38 pm

The last foal of 2009 arrives 7-25 evening. LETS PLAY FELLOWS "Play" 16.2H, did not appreciate our young palomino Red White N Gold "Patriot" stallion last year, she wanted a mature man in Allamystique. Not thinking she had enough sabino/white contributing horses in her pedigree, we had to breed her to "Mystique" or have no foal in 2009. The last day she showed in heat we did not allow her to see who was breeding her and "Patriot" got his chance. So after 11 months we have a white filly. Obviously DNA will have to prove her sire to be Allamystique.......or will it? LOL  The filly was born people friendly and loves rubbed and hugged!

congrats on a healthy foal, it can only be the white sire no doubt there.

Thank you, but wouldn't it be interesting if it wasn't Mystique's? LOL :D

I guess anything is possible. The white ones did come from solid ones to begin with.

I know, that's the mystery part about it, or just simple thinking.
Will parent verify when I register her.

Yes Allamystique seems most likely, but truthfully I wouldn't be shocked if Patriot was the sire (there is *some* color in that pedigree).
