RFF The Alchemist - performance test finals August 8-9

Postby color » Thu Jul 30, 2009 11:16 am

I need lots of crossed fingers for Alchie the weekend August 8-9. This is a very important step in the world of the dilute TB breeding as he would be the first to have finished the Stallion Performance testing and would then have the chance of entering every WB breed association in Europe except Hannover and Holstein who do not allow the dilute color. So please cross your fingers and wish us luck for these last two days.

With his 17.1 hh he is probably the tallest cremello TB stallion out there and he has the Glitter Please line and the Milkie line that made him a cremello. The Glitter Please line is probably from where the height is coming. The rider is a normal size so you can imagine how tall that horse is.

I have taken some pictures during the training:

He looks FABULOUS Gwen!

Crossing my fingers so hard that he will do well and gain his approval

Will you know once all of the testing is completed how he has done and if he will be accepted or not? Will this rider ride him or is it one of the "test" riders up on him?

Good luck! :D

Good luck to Alchie, he sure looks the part. I have a question. How good is a score of 105, for a mare that was presented to Oldenburg N/A. Her colt scored 7.9 on conformation, 8.5 on movement, 8.0 on the overall impression and a overall score of 8.1 when he was presented. So how well did they do?

Nessa

Your mare would be in the premium book (as long as no individual score was below 6.0 I believe), therefor her offspring are eligible to be branded OLD/NA. I believe an overall 8.0 is a premium foal as well. Cant remember for sure. TO answer your question, they did great LOL!

WoW! He is gorgeous! Those shots are breathtaking.

Sending all the best good luck wishes... you've done so many wonderful things for these dilute TB's, I hope your hard work (and his!) is rewarded.

She's not mine, just a granddaughter of Easy Goer that I found on the web. Her name is Spider Wing(Buck Strider x Revenge in Gold by Staunch Avenger, and she's in the database.

105 is a very good score. I know of the mare you are talking about & she is very nice. I was just at anOld NA inspection last week where another TB mare scored a 105 & they commented that it was the type of mare they'd love to have in Germany.

The foals was not premiun since he had an individual score below 8.0 (the confo score). You need all 3 scores 8.0 or higher to be premium. He was probably just in a funny growth phase at the time.
