Ontario Resident mare??
I have been told that I need to get my mares listed as Ontario Resident mares. I have been googling and looking for a form with no luck. So those of you who breed in Ontario can you please let me know where I can get this form. Thanks a bunch!

This is a joint venture between the ORC and the CTHS. I would suggest contacting the CTHS to get the information. There are documents on both websites relating to the conditions regarding eligiblity for the program.
I don't know if there are any actual forms that you have to fill out. There are just date restrictions as to mare residency, and whether Ontario foaled or Ontario sired.

Thanks... I did see those pages that gave the restrictions and thought that there would be a form or something to fill out to say *yes* the mare was here by date xxx. I did contact the CTHS yesterday evening but no answer so I sent in an e-mail. Guess I will have to wait till monday for a reply.
Was hoping someone here might have done it before and knew what was involved.

As of this year you will need an ORC license for the Ontario-Bred program.
More info here and here.
I got a pamphlet about the Thoroughbred Improvement Program in the mail the other day, and it had the residency forms included in it.
