Very Pretty, I bet she gets it from this mare in her pedigree behind her sire! NORTHERN TASTE - nice abstract markings on face and legs.
Great find! http://www.pedigreequery.com/northern+taste Makes me wonder if N. Dancer carried an overo gene?

That horse is DEFINITELY splash. Northern Taste is also clearly splash IMO. Now to figure out where the heck HE got it from. Hmmmm. I've always suspected Northern Dancer of splash but have yet to see hard core evidence... but I had yet to see this guy. Wow. It definitely doesn't appear to have come from Victoria Park. Then on the bottom side we have... drum roll please... Northern Dancer's granddam, Lady Angela. She herself doesn't look too interesting, but given the other horses in the pedigree it would almost had to have come from her. Beyond that, she's in this pedigree TWICE. Since she's innocuous looking I looked back at Hyperion, and IMO... BINGO. That is SUCH a classic representation of minimal splash plus a white suppression gene. Now whether or not Lady Angela passed this on to Northern Dancer, I wouldn't wager, but I feel sure she is the source of it in Norther Taste (and thus the source in the OP horse).

Wow... really nice to feel like I kinda have a hold of a legit splash line.

I was trying to figure out where did the existence of this flamboyant equine was first reported here, for the name sounds quite familiar to me.
Great find anyway! :D

Well if there was any question about the splash, that proved it. STUNNING!
