Pioneerof the Nile ran well on the mud in the Derby. Not unlike many synthetic horses. Fast-forward to the Preakness, and well...

I believe he meant horses with LAW in their pedigree seem to do better in the mud than many other stallions. He's still a big influence on the breed via his daughters.

Blew away the field in FOY. Ha! Terrible stallion GC...never get a winner on dirt :lol:

Re read the entire thread. I've not been following too closely but didn't GC have a pretty big weekend with 3yolds? I know a GC won the El Camino Real Derby and I think the Fountain of Youth Winner was a GC.

I believe the 3rd placer in the Risen Star was a GC as well.

Giants cauaseway most have read this post and said "okay i'll show them". he has a couple of 3YOs that havfe no problem on dirt. Christine Daae is the real deal IMHO.
