Any Sam Houston people around?

i need to get a Texas owners license and was wondering can i go to the Texas Racing Commission at Sam Houston and get an owners license complete with fingerprints and all? Can they fingerprint me at Sam Houston instead of going to the local police station and getting it done there?

Yes. There's a licensing office at all of the TX tracks. See-

Looking to claim a horse before Sam Houston closes thats why i need a license there.

jellac-can you help with info on horses im looking at? You an owner or trainer?

sorry ageecee - I only just now saw this...did you get the horse you wanted? BTW - I'm a breed to race owner - not a trainer.

Did not claim one at Sam Houston im waiting till La Downs to take one there.
