Lyphard problem?

Postby BookieBuster » Sat Mar 20, 2010 7:40 am

I have checked a couple of pedigrees today that include Lyphard in the family.

In each case, he is appearing as a female, with no additional pedigree.

Who can fix this?

Your problem seems to be the same one I've been coming across today.

Horses are being split into two. One has the picture, win details and family number, and the other has the actual pedigree.

Presumably related to the maintenance that finished at 7pm Pacific Time?

Sadlers Wells is showing up in pedigrees now as a filly with no further pedigree.

Lyphard is fixed. That's not something a random user could have done, so it may have to do with the work done yesterday.

Please let me know if you see any others like this - any well-intentioned attempts to fix it may just make the issue worse. The 'split in two' seems to be the result of people trying to fix the pedigree, finding they can't, and just making a new one.

Okay, I'll own up to creating a new Sleeping Indian (GB).

When I look up Sadler's Wells, the ~1996 one has disappeared, but when I look at the Sleeping Indian 2001 pedigree, the dud Sadler's Wells, plus a couple of others are still in it.

Not using the database at the moment, so I can't comment on others.

Sleeping Indian is all fixed. :)

I need to go out for a while, but keep posting any others you find here - I'll fix them when I return.

Hi Lucy. I've added information, but on the "Pedigreequery is not keeping up to date" thread.

KB, I can only help with data entry issues. The PDF problem is one for the techies, I'm afraid. I wouldn't even know where to begin!
