Calvin Borel's home - many photos

Postby majxmom » Tue Apr 27, 2010 12:56 pm

Here's a link to the CJ's photoarticle about Calvin Borel's home. Whew! Lisa has good taste.

It takes a while to load completely so that you can advance to the next pictures. The second picture is the same as the first, and there are a few other duplicates, but it is worth scrolling through all of them because they have some beautifully displayed mementos. I especially liked the small square shadow box of a few of the roses. That tack truck of Lisa's is suspiciously clean inside, however. I think that is just for show! :)

The house doesnt even look lived in! Very Vogue. Are the HITS ribbons his wives? I like she has her tack trunk in the house, very cool. But all those white carpets and couches??? Can you see either of them kicked off muddy barn boots on those floors LOL.

Looks like Lisa is an equestrian also. I agree about the tack box. No one has a tack box that clean. No one.

Pretty impressive! Thanks for sharing the link...nobody can accuse that house of not being tastefully appointed!

That is a lovely home. I had to write this for those of you who are wondering how any home can stay that tidy, no clutter or mess. The farm I work on was photographed for a magazine a few year's back. An interior decorator & the photographer arrived long before anything was shot and they staged everything, so don't feel too bad lol It takes a long time to set everything up & make it perfect so don't fret.. its ok to have a messy house!!! lol

I am sure that is just for show in the house...bet they can afford one for the barn and shows too.

Lisa's mom runs a rescue down here in FL and is an avid eventer. Very horsey family!
