Still need starting gate

Postby Garysmom » Sat May 22, 2010 8:41 pm

HELP! We still need a starting gate. People keep telling me about rusted gates sitting out on the side of the road with for sale signs everywhere from Southern Pines to Arizona, but I can't find any of them! I have searched the internet, emailed racetracks and tack stores up and down the east coast, called friends and strangers and nothing. I've run out of ideas.

We would like a 2 or 3 horse gate, would like the doors that spring open with a bungee cord. We can fix it if its in bad shape. If you happen to know of any of these alleged roadside gates, please get the number for me. If you have a gate or can locate one please call me at 215-820-8804.

Thank you!

I can't get an exact price out of my boss. He says it depends on the condition of the gate and how much he'd have to put into it. Do you know how much they want for it? Do you have a picture or could we come look at it?

I don't know if he still has it, but Pete Axmaker in WA had one for sale a couple of months ago. He is running horses somewhere South right now AZ or NM, I just saw his name on TVG. A little research adn I'm sure you could locate him.
