Rachel is gearing up for something, that's for sure after an excellent 3/4's in 1:11.20 breezing over a fast track at CD this AM. TJ

Interesting change of equipment. Maybe that will help her with the lugging.

Hi Tuc,
She raced with the pictured equipment both times this year, last year she went in a tongue tie and a bit. TJ

TJ, you may be refering to the infamous, standard Asmussen figure eight.
I am refering to the metal in her mouth. She did run in the aussie this year(interestingly) and last year it was just a snaffle. Maybe they ought to be looking to the Curlin equipment to help her stay straight.
I honestly haven't paid much attention as she doesn't interest me much this year.

And your point being?

Every trainer works his stock in a different manner. A horse can work fast or slow depending on what the trainer wishes to get out of the work.

Hi Tuc,
I was talking about the whole rig....it looked to me like she is wearing it in the Zardana race. I had to blow it up some in order to see it, but I could be wrong. The picture angle of the Unrivaled Belle race makes it hard to see, if she in fact has it on.
It is a shame the interest she once generated is gone....at least Zenyatta keeps that in tact. Hopefully Rachel will get her act together and once again get the rivalry, anticipation and excitement going again. TJ

How much purse does that pay in the morning?
