I know it's a nice State-bred program in NM but dang 9 foals 5 starters 4 winners 2 SW 3 SH. He's out of a Grade One Smarten mare which has to help. Stands at SW Cattle Co.? When I look at their website all I see is cows, whats the deal with this guy? Used to be in Pa. ?

His results in New Mexico are great. They're cleaning up in that well monied statebred program. But do they ever run outside of NM? His top earner, Running Squall, has earned over 100K running only in restricted, statebred races.

Gotta hand it to him though, he's working the system masterfully.

Squall picked up 130K+ in earnings this past weekend from two 2yo NM restricted futurities at Ruidoso Downs: the Rio Grande Senor and Senorita Futurities. It looks like the bulk of his earnings has come from that program; both the qualifiers and the finals are very well funded.

Not a bad place to breed horses it seems and if you ever get one good enough you can take a crack at the Sunland Derby. Peppers Pride made over a million in NM.
